We study the effects of a high share wind generation on frequency fluctuations power grids islands. propose dynamical model that includes conventional and variable renewable generation, as well demand variations. Our can assimilate load data reproduce with current mix degree accuracy, it allows to simulate dynamics for different scenarios very penetration energy. As case study, we analyze grid Gran Canaria island. characterize method estimate control needed keep deviations within reasonable limits.
